What sparked your interest in acting?
Meeting boys. I went to an all-girls highschool and the all-boys school was auditioning for a production of Grease so I signed up! I joined the school musicals every year and fell in love! With acting. Not with many boys.
What do you love about your job?
I love that my job involves lots of play. I’m just a big kid that likes to play make-believe and for some reason people pay me to do that!
During these interesting times, what keeps you inspired?
My husband Fane and I run an online drama program for youth (Ivy Speech Arts Academy) and the kids we teach keep us inspired. As an educator I have to stay positive with my students during these trying times and their positive energy rubs off of on me too. Our classes are often silly and it’s refreshing not to take the world so seriously sometimes.
