What inspired you to start singing & how did you get started?
My parents bought me a guitar when I was about 9 or 10, and I just fell in love with music after that. I mean, I loved music before that, but to be able to play my favorite songs, and write little things, was extremely exciting to me. After that the singing just kind of came along.

What’s your favorite part about performing live.
I think performing live is such a complex art form within itself. There are moments in a live performance that are different than any other musical scenario, because the moment is sort of all you have, and when you reach a visceral one, it’s really amazing. Having people there creates an atmosphere of excitement that you don’t really get in your bedroom, or in a recording studio.
What is coming up for you that you’re excited about?
I’m excited to play more shows! Shows are one of the best parts of my job, and I’m excited to meet fans and share my music with them in a live setting.
Also, I just launched a forum of sorts called Solve The Solvable, where people can post good things they’re doing to help out their communities and such, and become eligible to win cool prizes by doing so. You can access it via my website, read my manifesto, and get involved!
